Welcome to Greener Berwick

We are a climate action group based in Berwick-upon-Tweed, and reaching out across North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. We want to create positive environmental change through climate action.

We network with other environmental groups and engage with local people, organisations and businesses in the fight to become net-zero. We share ideas and empower individuals and organisations in lobbying and identifying relevant local issues. We are not affiliated to any political party. We were formerly known as ‘Climate Action Berwick and Borders’, and re-branded to Greener Berwick in August 2022.

Our primary concern is the climate emergency which knows no borders, no colours and no political parties. It affects us all, no matter who we are or where we are from.
