About the group

The Greener Berwick Green Reads Book Group is a new opportunity to read and discuss green-themed books with others. Eco-literature embraces nature and environmental themes, including fiction and non-fiction, nature-writing and poetry, scientific and economic analysis - see below for some taster titles!

We’ll choose one title a month and meet to discuss it over a cuppa and some cake. New members are very welcome, so come along!

When and where

The group meets on the first Thursday of each month from 4.30 to about 6pm.

Meetings are at a member's home - please email info@greenerberwick.org.uk to get the address.

Recent Green Reads

We recently read Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy. The group's short report about this book can be read here.

A note about buying books
Authors make their living from selling books. Buying books directly supports them. But most of the titles we’ll be reading will also be available second-hand.
