About us
Greener Berwick is a community climate action group based in Berwick-upon-Tweed in North Northumberland. We are affiliated to the Friends of the Earth Climate Action Network.
Our group was formed in 2020 and commenced as an online network, meeting over Zoom. We hold a combination of online and face-to-face meetings, principally held in Berwick-upon-Tweed.
If we network to mix people, ideas and energy we believe we can achieve a greener Berwick, a more sustainable environment, and a cleaner future.

What we do
Much of the organisation’s activities are focused around particular themes and objectives within our various Action Groups throughout the year. We want you to get involved!
Earthmovers Awards 2022
Greener Berwick is proud to have been awarded Friends of the Earth 'Earthmovers Award 2022’ in recognition of holding 'Elemental Festival' in 2021 (prior to rebranding, when we were ‘Climate Action Berwick and Borders’).
One of our close collaborators, Northern Soul Kitchen, kindly agreed to provide a home for a plaque. Another reason to go visit the Northern Soul Kitchen café!
