Zero Waste Action Group visit to Northumberland recycling depot
The Zero Waste Action Group has organised a visit to the main Northumberland recycling depot (near Ashington, car sharing to get there) 25th January 2023 at 2pm.
As at 6th January 7 people have signed up so far and there is a maximum of 12 for this trip.
This is an opportunity to see how the whole recycling operation works in Northumberland and ask questions that might lead to some improvements in Berwick.
Presently the Berwick depot does not allow pedestrians or cyclists to enter, which is one issue that needs addressing, as well as how different materials are sorted.
